The first trailer has been released for “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City,” the upcoming live-action reboot of the “Resident Evil” film franchise. The Johannes Roberts-directed film ignores the Milla Jovovich-led films and returns to the horror roots of the original games. Set in 1998, Raccoon City was once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation and is now a dying Midwestern town. I agree, that whole trailer was better than the franchise movies. Such garbage can't believe they did like 6 of those and they all sucked.
I was thinking about giving the Resident Evil movies another shot. (I watched one but it seemed to lack any substance). Guess I'll wait for this now.
The Milla Jovovich RE movies were so bad that this trailer alone is a massive step forward for the franchise
