I’m confused. Why can’t a cancer survivor get the vaccine? I have stage 4 melanoma and it was recommended.
Is there a reason why someone that survived cancer can't get the vaccine? Since the vaccine is not made a weakened version of the virus, there is no risk of the vaccine leading to an actual infection even with weakened immune system. Seems to me that a vaccine and booster is extra important for someone that's immunocompromised since an actual covid infection is more likely to be extremely harmful. It's also important to be careful even after getting the vaccine since a weakened immune system may not respond to the vaccine and create protective antibodies and memory cells like a healthy person would.
Money talks. I guess on a humanistic level, it's better than seeing them all keel over like yet another Con radio host. Makes me wonder why should I take the high road when they're profiting off other people's fear and ignorance? Ideally they should put up and become a 24/7 super spreader or shutup.
Because its right wing nonsense (as usual). As you note, patients with cancer have been getting the vaccine. In some cases its recommended since chemo can suppress the immune system. Canada has vaccine mandates now for targeted groups (federal workers and healthcare workers, child care/schools, etc.. in some provinces). The big thing in Canada is that getting an exemption is almost impossible. There is no option to get a weekly test or get a religious exemption. It doesnt matter if you work remote or already got covid. You either get the vaccine or you're out of a job. And a new vaccine mandate for air/rail/bus travel is going into effect this month (on top of existing vaccine passport laws that are in force in most provinces). And the results show that its working. With the exception of Alberta and Saskatchewan, the rest of Canada is close to or has passed 90% of eligible people (12 years and older) with at least one dose of the vaccine.
Ghastly madness. Time for you to stuff that suitcase with gold bars and bullets and buy a one way ticket for the underground railroad to Texas. Ivermectin there is plentiful and the horses top notch.
I think the confusion is anyone taking an alleged third hand tweeted story from a partisan as meaningful. And god bless - did not know stage IV. What grade? (Am learning that's important.)
I don’t remember. It isn’t in any of my vital organs so I’m lucky. And my tumors are pretty much gone after just a few infusions. Thank you science!
Lol what does him being a cancer survivor have to do with it? If anything they’re at increases risk of dying if they have covid. I remember when us conservatives were smart
This is so sad all this misinformation that 45 and his friends have spread are getting people killed. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/07/us/maryland-pharmacist-brother-murder-charge/index.html
Cancer survivor here, no one told me to avoid the vaccine. Although, in my case, it's been in remission for so long, I don't consider myself immunocompromised.
straight up lie here, vaccinated can spread the virus will Biden get suspended on social media for dangerous medical misinformation?
