I do - I want to get rid of all the loopholes that stop people from paying taxes. And, I would like to get away from 401k's where people artificially prop up the stock market - those are not savings accounts, those are risky investments that can go down - we no longer have savings accounts in this country, or lay away, somehow huckster used car salesman (Stock brokers) have convinced average citizens to invest in the stock market. Once again the rich have maneuvered the money back into their pockets for their own benefit. Nothing wrong with the stock market but our average citizen should not have their retirement forced into that as a vehicle, we are stealing money from the lower and middle classes and giving it to the rich. You guys should know that at every point in history where the rich have this much money and the others do not, percentage wise, it leads to revolution where the rich generally lose their heads. We are at a point in the USA, where the middle class has lost all the gains they got in the 30s, 40s, and 50s - and are getting closer to the robber Barron era where we have 10 year olds working in the coal mines.... So, I am WAY in favor of higher taxes on the rich, or better yet for the people that don't read or understand history - just rolling back to the taxes we had under IKE. DD
Um... the US Chamber of Commerce is pro-business I believe. So is the republican party now anti-business too? I mean, after anti-military leadership?
We have moved back into the "I didn't vote for donald trump, I wrote in an independent/libertarian" phase...
Two party system lady…. Ya voted for Trump. I don’t know why people think they achieve some moral high ground announcing this.
Its just like here... the very same people that spent months promoting him in the run up to the election and four years defending him now say they didn't vote for him and instead wrote in some third or fourth party candidate. Yet somehow the candidates they suggest they voted for had small % of votes while trump won the overwhelming support of republicans and conservative voters. And the same people will vote for him again in 2024. And say they voted for an independent/libertarian. While I understand why they do this to a degree, after all, I'd be embarrassed to admit I voted for him too. But the lack of honesty is confusing.
