Another shoe dropped in that regard. The question now is Irving going to succumb and get a vaccine. If he refuses things will get very complicated.
He's one to talk. If OKC would have amnestied his ass they could have kept their core of KD/Russ/Harden/Ibaka.
Funny thing is…Had KD been further along in his off the court development, I could totally see him pulling the plug on Perkins like that. But he was just too damn young to know better if he had it to do over again, I’m sure Perkins ass would have been toast.
That's a good point though I still blame the ownership and Presti for that botch job. Perkins gave them literally nothing in terms of production that first year in OKC and then, a month ago, he had the audacity to throw shade at Harden's performance in the Finals. I understand the decision from a financial standpoint (amnestying Perkins and then paying Harden and then facing a huge tax bill) but if you want to win in any professional league you better pony up the $$, especially when you had a really great core of KD/Russ/Harden/Ibaka. Presti probably learned from that whole fiasco when he quoted ATCQ, years later, "Scared money don't make none"
While I do think he'll eventually cave, if the Nets completely derail their season because the flat earther won't back down it would be oh so satisfying and hilarious.
They allow me through that door and I'm immediately getting to work on an all access Houston Rockets version of Hard Knocks for the Clutchfam. There would be too much content. I can already picture the behind the scenes trade deadline bonus video now. No more ten second clips. Clutchfans deserves mini movies. They'd probably pay me in Landry's though
