Would you trade John Wall & 3 - 4 1st rounders for Ben Simmons?

I agree with John Salley…John Wall and Steph Curry are definitely on the same level…overrated Steph just gets to play with much better teammates and on stacked teams

a team needs to trade for John Wall so they can discover 1 of the best kept secrets in the NBA

 

John Salley got the wrong guy. Bradley Beal is on Curry's level. If only Beal had a teammate like Klay to take the pressure off him.

 

Nah. Stephen curry can shoot 3s well. That alone makes him quite more valuable than wall.

 

John Wall is such a different player than Curry, but I do believe we under value what JW could bring to a contender.

It's impossible to argue John brings value for his contract, it's not impossible to highlight how he could be a difference maker for certain competitive teams. If Leonard wasn't injured, he would be a perfect PG for the Clips. He may be the right guy to help Philly as well. This is where we need some help from the player's and agent's networks.

As to Simmons, I'm torn--intrigued by buying low (potentially) and seeing what we can do to help him optimize his potential, but questioning whether this distressed player's game/value is a fit or can be repaired.

Needless to say, Morey likely has better options then only trading with us.

However, I'd love to see if we could finagle our way into a big deal to find John or EG a new home with a contender, and some picks or young assets coming back our way.

 

Ben Simmons gets zero respect these days

 

Not sure if it was Trae's stink face or creamsicle shoes that scared the crap out of Ben. Both their expressions are priceless.

 

I think Simmons has the potential to work out amazingly with this roster if some of our young talent works out the way we think/hope it will... But 3-4 firsts is too much to risk.

I think this offensive is focused around Wood, KPJ, and Now mainly Green. Green is your all star, who is unlike ben simmons. Simmons is a 2nd tier Star, but cant shoot a lick, and does not fit this team. Once the rockets got Green, getting simmons became obsolete, as they play the same position. /Thread.

Yea kpj, but Green going to be your primary ball handler now. Simmons needs the ball in his hands to be effective, and that would mess up the chemistry between KPj Green, and Wood probably.

 

KPJ is not the SG either.
