I love Christians thread - only love for Christians

Haha. Because they have been my neighbors for about 18 years, and the only thing really annoying about them as neighbors is all the cars parked in front of our house for weekly bible study. They are great people.

 

Christianity is rapidly declining in this country. The stats are remarkable.

 

It's odd how in one sense, we're getting closer and closer to living the movie "Idiocracy"...and yet people are becoming more and more logical as well.

We are moving away from religion as a society as time moves forward but at the same time socioeconomic divide is increasing as time moves forward a long with people having access to "too much information" where they can't differentiate between what is real and what is fake.

So less religion, but at the same time more hardship for the middle and poor class combined with outlets online that harvest that missery to sell them narratives

 

I predict my own death some time in the future also.

That's the nature of religious prophecies. They predict the inevitable so when the inevitable happens people can praised the prophetic nature of these religous texts.

but anyways, HUMANS CREATED RELIGION to try to regulate population control and to try to explain things they can't explain.

As we exponentially advance in science , we discover things such as new planets, medicine and technology.

back when any of these old ass religions were made, they thought the Earth was flat, humans can't reach the stars, and disease was caused by the Devil.

now we know that the Earth is not flat, we can make machines that send us into space like space X

and diseases come out of an experimental lab in China.

Honest question, and maybe its been asked. Are people that profess to be Christian really following Christ's teachings?

I love people of all faiths that work hard to live up to the expectations of said faith. What I don't like is people who cherry pick their faith to put themselves above or allow themselves to cast judgment about everyone else but themselves. They are quick to demand forgiveness but slow to give. They demand charity but scorn those that request it. The demand respect and love but if you think differently they will give none. The kind of people who claim persecution when that is their favorite flavor of the month.. . . . . . .
