They just checked Graveman's hat. I know it's protocol but surprised the ump could keep a straight face

White Sox just won. Glad our home field fate is in our hand. Grave man making it interesting though. Surely we won’t choke up a SIX RUN lead.

Seems like he’s either hurt or fatigued. He’s going to get more rest again before his next appearance.

You never know how some of these bullpen guys are going to react in their first playoffs…. Regardless of whether or not they have their good stuff. Hell, Joe Smith was a setup man in 2019. Raley is probably going to get some high leverage innings as well.

I think Graveman's problem is he's lost confidence. The stuff is there.

He said in an interview this is the first full season he's ever pitched. Fatigue could definitely be a factor

He’s probably still tracking Seattle’s season as well. They just took a 3-1 lead on a Hanniger HR. Sold out crowd there. Going nuts. How can any franchise not want those sorts of games/experience and spend a little bit more to get to that point?

Seattle probably will go crazy with contracts over the next few years supplementing their young core.

Kimbrel was the big relief pitcher prize at the trade deadline and his ERA has been over 5 since joining the White Sox. Hopefully that continues in the Divisional Round.

I’d rather have games where Kimbrel/Hendricks appearances don’t matter.

Would gladly take a 2018 Cleveland series (the most forgotten playoff winning series in Astros history).

Tampa Bay is even worse. They put a good product on the field and nobody cares.

They paid Cruz so you might be right. Hopefully they overpay because they have a similar farm system that got us to the WS

Kimbrel has been horrible for Chicago.

Partly because they don’t play in Tampa. And now they want to play half the season in Montreal. Just move the team there permanently.

Seattle has always supported winners very well… sorta like Houston.

Indeed… but unless he’s hurt, he’s one of the few guys they have who’s actually pitched in these sorts of games.

Astros should have done more against him in 2018.

Home field. Now Dusty's shitty lineup won't matter tomorrow

Well it wasn’t pretty. Here’s to hoping they’ll flip the switch once the playoffs start like they did last year

This was a good game to have for second to last game. The offense woke up in a big way.

Agreed. We definitely can't talk as we don't turn put to support anything other than that
