white Sox much better at home. Would rather have home field against them. This Astros
Teams looks like it needs all the help
    It can get.

Certain people here have to defend Dusty's idiocy at every turn.

Yeah...this wasn't the first time he left a top starter on the bench in a close game when they needed a pinch hitter. Unless Yuli was injured, there was no reason for him not to pinch hit for Meyers in a game that had meaning.

It could be argued that Altuve, Brantley or Yuli should have pinch hit for Diaz in the 8th as the tying run.

Finishing the race IS something we should be concerned with.

There's only two of them. One was also a huge BOB supporter to put things in perspective.

    The First Commandment

Thou shalt love DUSTY with all thy heart and all thy mind and with all thy soul.

The Second is like unto it.

Thou shalt NOT criticize any of his decisions in any way. It is an abomination to the LORD.

We've still got something to play for. Dusty coming out with THAT lineup, well, no words..... And to not pinch hit the league leader...

    smfh

Also, he's asking for another year. I'm just not in a good mood.

Early playoff exit and Dusty is not extended.

win the first series and he gets another year.

I’m guessing a lot of our roster was hung over yesterday.

I have mixed feelings as to what will happen. It seems there is discord between Click and Baker and Baker was not a Click guy. So anything short of winning the first series is failure and he is easily not extended. On the other hand, it would be hard NOT to extend him if they get to and/or win the World Series. It's a gray area if they lose the ALCS.

Dusty has made a number of questionable decisions, but we are all locally biased as we see the team daily and other managers make weird decisions as well. The September swoon certainly doesn't help his case, but again, a lot of core players failed big time the past month.

Personally, I'd rather they get Hinch back. :)

Dusty is an idiot. You could literally let random fans manage and they'd do better

I don't care what the playoff results are. No more Baker please.

Wish Crane would send a huge f you to the MLB and the commissioner and bring back Hinch and Luhnow.

Game 7 mistakes notwithstanding, I'd love to see Hinch back. I think there's too much bad blood between Lunhow and the organization now for him to return, if that was even possible. He didn't like being one of the fall guys.

Dusty needs to take this team to the World Series for me to be even remotely content with him returning next year. And even, that's a big if. Best case scenario, he leads the team to another title and rides off into the sunset.

How bout we just stop messing around and wrap up home field in the first round. One step at a time.

They were all going to get an off day this series. Bregman/Alvarez likely out tomorrow.
