I thought you were joking....then I saw the tweet video someone posted below. wow. LMAO. Dusty drinking out of a cleat?! LMAO.
I saw it happening and I thought...grooooossss. And then I thought, "That's the dude who had a mask and gloves on ALL season and he's now drinking champagne out of someone else's shoe". Gross. But I'm glad he got to celebrate this and enjoy it. Now just win one more to clinch homefield.
Bags was great at 1st, should have more then one GG but I still dont recall Bags being that good at the digs. I'm very familiar with all the others just never watched them day in day out.
Some are and some aren't. It's a BUSINESS to some and a HOBBY to others. Those who have to make an OPERATIONAL PROFIT will seem cheap and HOBBYISTS will seem to CARE more about the fans. But they care more about bragging rights with their rich buddies than the fans. The fans just benefit.
Have you noticed the SOLUTION out of this quagmire always seems to be selling the franchise to a Yankee Financial LEECH who considers the Franchise his Elite TOY?
Which came first, the elite throws or the elite digs? At some point you recognize that the team matters. And then you forget all about that when your AGENT speaks about maximum financial return.
I suspect part of what's going on is that the metrics guys have concluded that the low throw is more efficient than the high throw and I know they've talked about the intentional bounce throw in some situations.
I think LMJ starts Game 1, Valdez Game 2 and then Garcia Game 3. But guessing what Dusty will do is not an easy task.
I have them in that order because Urquidy may make the seasons final start (on four day's rest) and would be on full rest if game 4 is required. I think Games 3 and 4 starters are the most difficult to guess. They may skip Urquidy and change the order, but all the pitchers would then be off routine 4 or 5 day rest schedules. Some light will be shed when the Oakland series pitchers are announced. But if Game 5 is required, you have to start LMJ. In fact, he has to start every game he can with full rest and consider some with short rest.
I can see the new product line. Adidas Drinking cups for the REAL FANS. At least Dust didn't show off his speedos.
