With high profile cults like NXIVM and R. Kelly in the news the past few years, I thought it would be a good time to discuss the pros, cons, profits, etc. Asking for a friend.
I'm currently involved with a cult. It's a very exclusive group that has limited membership opportunities. I keep my cult interactions hidden from my family. I never participate or discuss cult activities when I'm around them. Our cult is more dangerous than The Illuminati or Hare Krishnas. In fact, we've silently infiltrated all levels of government and religious organizations. We are above The System and feared by The Man. We have a secret method for recognizing each member. Our leader is a well-known public figure. He guides us through the darkness of the conservatives and past the ludicrousy of the liberals. There is a secret call...somewhat like a Bat-signal that will call all of us to arms when the time is nigh. We're standing right next to you and you'll never know it! Fear us! I am a 99er.
I recently watched the entire terrible Agent Carter series. I didn't have to; there were a million other things I could have watched; but I watched this show, which is now not canon, just cuz. So I know of what I speak.
