The last trace from Robert Lowery, 46, a father of two from Houston, was reportedly a ping from his cellphone in Jackson on Aug. 23. Lowery was seen on video from Aug. 19 at a restaurant at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village. He was last spotted the following day in Bridger-Teton National Forest, where Petito’s body was found Sept. 19, CNN reported, citing the Teton County Sheriff’s Office. On Tuesday, remains matching Lowery’s description were discovered near the Black Canyon Trail at the base of Teton Pass, Houston’s KPRC-TV reported.
Man if he beats the FBI at finding this guy someone needs to get defunded. All dog does is knock on doors with a paintball guns.
I saw someone make a good point in that bounty hunters aren't LEOs so sometimes they can get information from folks that they otherwise wouldn't offer to a LEO either due to perhaps having their own problems or a distrust of police. As much of a clown show as DTBH is, the idea that an independent investigator could crack this all open isn't unreasonable.
Dog the Bounty Hunter has brought in a K9 unit and is searching some island. Police and the FBI are bringing in helicopters and ground search units at a totally different place. It is going to be fascinating if Dog finds him first.
