Interesting, I don't think that meme would hit as hard with "complex but wrong"

I think this meme convey's "always going at it alone" better

 

I've never heard of that song I just looked for a song with contrarian in it.

Truth is not a contest is it

 

the significant disagreement isn't whether climate change is occurring, the significant disagreement is over what to do about it

 

You're just not going at it alone enough yet partner.

What does it matter if it's occurring or not when the goal is to do nothing amirite.

You must speak for a lot of people then, who've suddenly changed their arguments (and goals).

 

now it's my turn to say I give up . . . not sure where you're going with this

 

It was never a competition

 

I just find the whole goal post moving sad and hilarious.

It first was "no evidence that the earth is warming"

Then it's "no evidence that humans are the cause for the recent warming trend through C02 emissions."

Then it became "You are damaging the economy more by trying to solve it"

Then it became "It's too late to do anything about it. We just need to learn to adapt".

Let's make one thing clear. It's the same type of people who went through all these stages over the course of my lifetime.

So let's not listen to the people who have to move goal posts every half decade or so. Let's just listen to those who got it right the first time and didn't need to move goal posts.
