He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there.”

That email, which was sent to fellow Democratic donor Sheikh Mohammed al-Rahbani, also flagged the “negatives” to enlisting Hunter’s help.

“He is alcoholic, drug addict – kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches,” the email said. Hunter was actually discharged from the US Naval Reserve in 2014, not the Army as the email suggested.

Hunter and Heinz founded Rosemont Seneca Partners, a billion-dollar private equity firm, back in 2009. Their business dealings soured when Hunter opted in 2014 to join the board of a gas company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch.

The Hunter Biden situation is bad, but again the hypocrisy of the right is astounding. The Bidens nepotism is childs play compared to the Trumps. And they don't even bother with the "both sides are bad" argument anymore. It's an information bubble where one side is bad and the other side is completely ignored.

No it’s about the Trump supporter who has no ability to judge with any moral credibility. The story isn’t about Trump really… it’s about the people who prop him up and preach his ideology of autocratic takeover of democracy because of cultural grievance. Until those people are ready to rejoin the concept of democratic society then they have right to be taken seriously in anything like this.

 

Trump's nepotism is on a different level than Biden and the right completely ignores it. Was that unclear? They are making a mountain out of a molehill while ignoring the mountain they are standing next to.

Ultimately, in my opinion, as bad as it looks nothing will come of this. This isn't a right vs left thing, they all cover for each other (might be coming from the military tho, they aren't too fond of Biden right now) This story came out last year and not only did the media run cover but Bill Barr refused to investigate it. As long as the citizens are fooled by the media into proposing whataboutisms that pit us against each other no political crimes will ever be punished. Biden can take all the bribes he wants, McConnel can traffic all the coke he can sniff, Ilhan Omar can marry her brother, Eric Smalwell can bang all the Chinese spies he wants, Peloci can insider trade to her heart's content and no one will care. Most of them are abusing campaign finance laws, abusing their spouse or into kids, everyone knows it and nothing comes of it. Hell Bill Clinton and his brother ran a drug trafficking ring in Arkansas, everyone knew about it and he still attained the presidency. Not only will none of this will effect anything, in a weeks time the narrative will probably switch to an alleged impropriety of a politico reporter that worked on the verification of the story.

Bob Menendez was acquitted for bribery, even with tapes and copious evidence. He and his tiebreaking vote is still in along with the full blessing of the DNC. That tells you how low the bar is and how these cases like Biden are considered fair game.
