Mayfield seems to have more rbi against us than he did for us. Something like 7 against us vs 6 for us.
Since the trade Toro vs Hou: .324/.409/.649/1.058 3HR 186 wRC+ in 44PA Toro vs everyone else: .248/.320/.314/.633 1HR 84 wRC+ in 169 PA Seems like nothing has changed with him, he just gets to face the Astros now lol
Ohtani’s 10 plate appearance against the stros resulted in 7 walks. I’d rather just pitch to the guy, his strikeout is pretty high in the 2nd half of the season. He only swings for bombs, doesn’t really hit for singles or doubles. All good, still won the series anyways.
Where are you getting your stats? Ohtani had 16 plate appearances and 5 walks. Game 1 - 0-4 0 walks Game 2 - 2-4 0 walks, 2 runs scored, 1 HR, 1 RBI Game 3 - 0-2, 2 walks Game 4 - 0-1, 3 walks, 1 run scored
That is correct... box score discrepancy. One showed 2, other showed the correct number of 4. So definitely 7 walks, but in 18 plate appearances.
Is this Chandler Rome's CFs account? I guess Dusty dumbassed his way to Game 7 of the ALCS last season when we were underdogs every series. I'm not a Dusty guy either, I wish we still had Hinch (who was smarter, more articulate, and a better tactician), but I see too much overblaming on Dusty when it isn't always warranted.
You should have seen me go after Ed Wade. GM instead of Mgr., but I ripped him a new one for being more concerned about his Phillie Legacy than the Astros.
When it comes to the '17 core, Wade got us Altuve, Springer, Keuchel, and I want to say maybe Marwin. That's an MVP, WS MVP, and Cy-Young winner that were brought in pre-Luhnow.
