Lol he can have one drive. He looked good on that drive. Looked like trash the rest of the game. Some of that was game plan, in his defense, though.

I'll call it like I see it. He plays like trash I'll say it. If he plays better the next drive, so be it, I'll.congratulate him.

Allman makes a great point about laying the ball out. David Carr had a strong arm but threw every ball ridiculously hard

Sorry, you don’t get to be so contrite. If you post BS like “Mills will be out of the league in two years,” you don’t later get to say, “Oops, I take it back!”

I didn't know we're not allowed to have evolving opinions, or that you're the one that sets that metric.

He looks okay at times. Other times he looks lost and green, which he is. His coordinator is doing him no favors, for sure. He needs to learn the playbook better. He needs to pick up the pace with processing. He needs to throw the deep ball way better. He's forcing the ball. The good thing is that all of these are coachable things. He's got arm talent.

I'm curious to see what he can do if he starts for weeks in a row and has decent gameplans. Right now, he's giving me a TJ Yates type vibe. He's got much better talent than Yates, I think.

I'm encouraged. I think he can stick in the league for a while. I also think that he's got some potential. I don't know what you do as a coach. You need to know what you have, and that means starting Mills for as many games as possible. But, when Taylor is back, he's played very good throughout his career. He's almost too good to allow this team to tank for a potential QB.

My worry is that if you don't allow Mills to show you who he really is, you may be stick with Types as your QB for a few years and you may never get a high enough pick. On top of that, you have Mills as your backup, developing, but not knowing what you've got, this delaying your rebuild.

I don’t know what Mills’ future is but Troy Aikman has been speaking highly about him all game. His floor appears to be at least a serviceable backup.

I think he can range from a back up to Jameis Winston/Kirk Cousins level. With maybe a chance at a Tannehill level

He isn’t mobile and that will make him a backup or out the league

What are you seeing that says he isn’t mobile? He’s looked really mobile this game

He couldn’t rush for 2 yards if he wanted too, he was able to move in pocket because of his size.. but rollouts were slow and he can’t scramble…which is why he doesn’t even try

Yeah, I don’t see what you’re seeing. He has a few nice rollouts. He has straight line speed to play in the league, and big enough with enough wiggle to shake off defenders

Texans wanted Mond and reached for Davis ‘cause they felt like they had to.

Wasn’t expecting dude to be anything more than a backup anyway.

Tyrod out for a month with a “hamstring” issue…

    Long season ahead.

    Pick #1…here we come!!

And what was Mond going to do? Him and Mills are basically the same QB, except Mond has more starts in college

Mills might be out of the league in a couple more games if he keeps taking hits like this.

Yeah there are a ton of plays where he rolls out strong side and makes good throws on the run. His second drive was solid with mobility.
He escaped several first pressures all game

Posters see the same game and see two different things. I thought Mills played well against the #1 defense in the league. I'm encouraged by Aikman's evaluation of how Mills played tonight.

The ball will come out quicker the more reps he gets
