Or feel free to throw in any from this year overall(or last year if you want to). I know we already have an annoying commercials thread or something like that but I couldn't find a recent one for best/favorite commercials. Anyway, I just came across this by HEB and think it's great. Apparently JVB moved to Texas recently and HEB used him in an ad last December. This one works even better
I felt that way...before I came across the HEB one. I guess maybe it's me reminiscing about the Varsity Blues days idk.
The frito pie in the Fritos bag was full of win. Posted this one in the hate thread...soooo coooool...
I didn't know about this. https://www.insidenova.com/lifestyl...cle_743a8408-02a1-5ef8-848d-c2364f48c245.html (... no, I won't post the meme)
I've almost cut audio/video commercials out of my life entirely. Mostly have popup and banner ads under control. Only when I accidentally open youtube instead of Vanced do they pop up. Oh, and sports... that is jarring when it doesn't cut to "we are in a commercial break, back in a moment" with the lame muzak. I hate those shows that have to recap what just happened every 6 minutes because they're trying to stretch the material/remind people what is going on because they just watched 4 minutes of commercials. Lookin' at you 2010's history/military channel.
I'm really happy with the number of commercials/ads I've eliminated from my life experience. No cable, no car radio, tons of ad blockers on my devices, I watch all the sporting events delayed so I can skip through the commercial breaks. The only thing I get these days is the ******* door-knocking salesmen, the billboards, and the in-game advertisements (thanks cancer hospital for buying very expensive ad time everywhere, money well spent).
No car radio? You could just listen to music on Sirius, I believe it's only the non-music channels on there that have ads. Either way, pretty nice work. Oh also you forgot the spam calls. There's no way you've completely eliminated those.
I don't care what anyone says, the Progressive Dr Rick commericals are gold. Love the new grocery store one.
yeah actually I think they do. but we pay so much for all the various services, and rarely watch Hulu. Except for right now with the Only Murders in the Building show. The commercials are bad when you're not used to them
