Based on the phenomenal, award-winning graphic novel.

I gave up checking on the status of this a couple years ago. Figured it was one of those productions that was never going to see the light of day.

Then, the trailer appeared out of nowhere last week. Looks promising.

I wish I could remember what happened when I read some of it 20 some-odd years ago. I think there was a dropoff in quality that made me forget everything.

What I've noticed with creator-owned comics is that 95% of the time they have to end them prematurely due to slumping sales, which were due to the comic doing so well they started expanding the story which caused it to get a little dull. This ends up as a so-so overall experience when you read it all at once.

The two that were just ended because 'it was time' that I can think of were Preacher and The Walking Dead.

Very freaky. Nice to see Diane Lane as the president. Would be nicer if she was playing the part 15 years ago, though. So damn near all the men just drop dead one day? My goodness.

Haven't read the source material, but this might be a good thing. Literally the last dude on earth but he's so freakin' whiny and...meh.

Gives "wouldn't date you if you were the last guy on earth" a whole new meaning.

If I remember my vague impressions, it's because became soapy and the dude turned whiny about some random love triangle or putting p***y on a pedestal.

I'm like I'm here for the psychopaths kickin **** up and turning back the end of the world but here I got a fisherman dreaming of omikase grade sushi all while holding a blunt little blade with no clue how to use it.

I read the last few issues of Walking Dead and I gotta admit, it's much harder to come up with a satisfying finish than cook up an addictive middle.

Thusfar, my takeaway from this show Ms. Secret Agent Lady is not someone I'd want to F with. She is hard.

Haven't read it , but liking the series a lot.... For some reason, sort of reminds of the movie Children of Men.

Y is really annoying, but it feels like they are setting him up for a major reality slap.
