Is Oprah getting a free pass on this? I remember her show being just as trashy as all the rest. Then she evolved to unleash garbage like Dr. Phil, Oz, and Deepak Chopra on us all.
If you don't associate the words " I hate you" or "Hold my earrings" with those 2 gay actors on Jerry Springer , were you really a fan? They appeared once a week in the late 90s episodes... Lol
Jerry Springer above all the rest (at least pre-1999). Maury is still one of my favorites. Sally Jessy Raphael was great, but had some weird stories. So was Jenny Jones. I think people remember the theme song to Ricki Lake the most.
Back when I used to drive a lot and listen to SiriusXM, I used to listen to Eminem's Shade 45 channel. There was a dj on there named Rude Jude. I never watched any of the aforementioned shows in this thread, but from what I understand, he was a sidekick that did nothing but hurl insults at guests on Jenny Jones' show. The dude definitely has/had issues, but I love his taste in old school music. Oddly enough, I saw Jenny Jones doing cooking/recipe videos on her YouTube channel (she had over 1 million subscribers) when I was looking for bread-baking ideas last month.

I went with a friend to meet a girl he was talking to online there back in like 2000. The girl tells us she just got back from being on Jenny Jones show. A few weeks later sure enough the episode aired. Her friend was coming out to her mom and they were in a relationship.

In college I had an ex-girlfriend show up on the Tempest Bledsoe show. Her and her then-boyfriend made up a story about meeting at spring break and not knowing they went to then same college until it was "revealed" on the show. She wanted a free trip to NYC so she got her free trip.
Maaannn...... People gave me **** about it and still do.... but I wanted to pound Ricki Lake.... and put a prime Ricki Lake in front of me and my wife and I are going to have a discussion about sharing.
