Or sooner? *Bledsoe, Ibaka, M Morris did not attend Clippers shindig like they are not Clippers or soon not to be. Wouldn't Bledsoe want to show up for his new team? *Wall attends Clippers Shindig like he is a Clipper or soon to be *Green sporting number 4 at Astros game like he will be owning it.....like a boss *Announced Wall will be holding out until traded or other *Exum signed but not signed. Can't do SnT with Exum packaged with other players. Wall out( ? )......Bledsoe (?buyout?)......Exum in (?signed?). Or will Exum SnT happen to another team or separate transaction to Clips? *Bledsoe traded on or around Aug 15th to Clips. Can be included in trade with other teammates 60 days later. October 15th-ish will be 60 days. Season starts October 19th (I believe). *Balmer is Mr. Money Bags ___________________________________________ Perhaps the fishy smell gets stronger by October? Rockets with Wall: I guessed 39 wins Rockets with Wall sitting: 25 wins Rockets without Wall/House; but add M Morris/Ibaka/Exum: 46 wins (at least)
lol, yo've put so many puzzles together...look, tho many columnists incl zach lowe believes Wall's contract is too big to swallow n insist nothing gonna happen before next summer, https://open.spotify.com/episode/7C...otify:show:2mZHt3zBxyIuc0PYLdDDkr&dl_branch=1 but the question is, wst being packed w/ strong teams, a fierce competition gonna be unavoidable as it used to be, n for some teams like lac, mavs n j*zz, as long as they failed this season, a dismantlement inevitable (see reference below, The Lowe Post show), therefore it might be their last chance to make a run led by their present core for the chip. without question these teams in addition to other contenders in the est are looking for a change through tweaking their roster, n bosses like ballmer n cuban always loaded, luxury tax not a problem for them. so just like wht sam amigo hinted in his article, there might be a blockbuster brewing there, the question is how many teams might be involved to eat up the huge contract. Ibaka got back problem, we'd better send him away if we can; i love Bledsoe, we should keep him who might be a good tutor for KPJ, just as i expect from DJ Augustin. besides, we still need a vet at pf position, M Morris is a long proved cancer, kids can't look to him or learn from him, see whether we could get another pf from the multi-team swap (if it did happened). the best scenario is, * sending away Wall (i love wht he did for this team last season, he definitely deserves staying w/ a playoff team); * keep tanking but managing the growing pain led to KPJ&JG core; * n going all out for the top pick next summer (grabbing a pg or sf/pf).
What I learned on here is that Sam Amico is not credible. But I can check this again with an expert of Amicos and Amicks. @Haymitch
With Wall we still have issues in the front line.....just Wood and Theis having experience. Sengun and Garuba filling in spot moments and going with Tate or Kenyon at the 4 at times. Many teams run a platoon at guard and/or at wing and/or at the 4/5. I would see our front line platoon as **Wood/Theis.....Sengun [each can play PF or C]. Garuba touch and go between G-league and Rockets. By mid-season Garuba would look just fine. **Let me draw it in crayon for you: Wood (PF) / Theis (C) start......Sengun subs in for Theis. So you have some run time as Wood (PF) and Sengun (C).......Theis subs in for Wood. So you have some run time of Sengun (PF) and Theis (C).......Wood subs back in for Sengun. Because all 3 have the capability to shoot 3's, allows for spacing. All 3 are interchangeable at PF/C. (let's continue) Exit Wall in exchange Marcus Morris and Ibaka. Our front line changes dramatically due to experience. Neither will ask for big minutes: Morris was 27 minutes at 47% from 3 on 5.1 attempts per game age 32 Ibaka was 23 minutes at 34% from 3 on 2.8 attempts per game age 32 (1.1 blocks) ______________________________________ There is some give and take going on. Front line, interior defense, rebounds, blocks, defensive rotations, knowledge of opposing players for Experience of Wall running Pick-n-Roll with a guy like Theis; which is similar to Gortat role. But the flaws of Porter/Green can be stabilized by the presence of Eric Gordon/Augustin. And offset by the front court of Wood/Theis/Ibaka/Morris/Sengun. I can see Morris playing the 3, 4 or 5. This bridges the gap between guards and front court if we think Tate/Kenyon aren't hacking it. And I would rather see Morris at backup PF than Tate or Kenyon. So yes, the deal makes the Rockets a more balanced team on offense and defense. Ibaka/Morris screens along with Theis would kick *** for setting up Porter/Green/Eric Gordon/Augustin nicely in Pick-n-Roll. I don't see a problem with my original assessment
