Who is your team MVP for this year? Nobody has monster numbers that blows everyone else away, Carlos has the most WAR, Tucker has the highest OPS, Yordan with the most HR and RBI...

Couple more games left to play so we'll see how it ends up, but who do you got?

Kyle Tucker has been so consistent all season. I’d have to give it to him, personally. His evolution has truly helped offset the loss of Springer and has been a beautiful thing to see.

Carlos Correa slight edge over Tucker mostly from PT difference.

Y'all sleeping on Correa. He's 3rd among all MLB position players in WAR. Tucker's had a better season at the plate but the combination of a premium bat with a gold glove at SS is far more valuable.

    Carlos
His defense is elite and is clearly the team captain.
Tuck would be a close second

I think it's pretty clearly Carlos. His defense has been spectacular at SS and his bat has been just a hair less than Tucker- while also playing more games. If all is even at the plate you clearly go with the most premium defensive position over RF. If Tucker was playing a gold glove CF I'd call it pretty close to push- but with him being in RF it's just not really much of a contest to my way of thinking.
LMJ as the MVP of the staff. Really nice to see him answer the bell basically all year long, and be pretty decent quality start in and start out. It feels like that 5/85 is going to be an absolute steal for him.

Carlos then Tucker, Altuve is having a pretty underrated season as well. Really nice turn around after last years shortened season

If Tucker was a gold glove CF then he'd arguably be the best player in baseball.

Just gonna give some love to Yuli. I think his resurgence can’t be overstated enough…he’s helped provide stability when we’ve needed it the most…hes not the best player we have but I do think he’s arguably been the most valuable…I don’t know where our team would be without him.

The beauty of the Astros roster is it’s depth. They have had 11 position players put up at least 1 fwar. So they don’t really have an MVP in the sense that there’s not one guy without whom the season would be a disaster.

That said, Correa, Altuve, and Tucker have put up production that might warrant MVP votes. All 3 are in the top 20 in MLB in fwar for position players. Of those 3, Correa has easily had the best/most productive season.

Team MVP for the regular season? For the playoffs? Both? To this point?

Regardless, unless one of Alvarez, Correa or Tucker outshines the other two clearly the rest of the way, co-MVP's for those three is my vote.
