True but I would say the Astros and Rays are just more trusted teams in the postseason with more experienced line ups and deeper rotations also. Hot hitting can quickly become cold hitting. Good rotations are more consistent.

If the Blue Jays have both Scherzer and Strasburg somewhere in their rotation, they’ll fit that mold quite well.

Alas, they don’t. But they could have a 2004 Astros-like run to the playoffs, but even that team had Clemens/Oswalt/Prime Lidge.

More like he's probably normal size looking when he's not around just professional athletes. He does look small out there. Altuve is short but you can tell he's yoked.

I doubt he'll be in the postseason rotation when Greinkie is back.

Hopefully Odorizzi’s just a little tweaked, and with an already big lead no point in not getting it checked out/iced.

Actually this is a good opportunity for Javier to build some confidence back and hone in on his mechanics. Get back to his unhittbale stuff that can be a true multi-inning weapon, especially in the post-season.

As Astros fans we have a warped sense of which pitchers stink due to all the all the success. Odor came into this game with a 4.28 ERA. The league average ERA is 4.47 so Odor is actually above average...and he's our 6th best starter.

Pretty sad place in here when we have people happy to see an Astro injured. One who has a sub 3 era for over 30 innings and an era in the low 4s for the year, even with his struggles early on

guess that’s what happens when the cities basketball team sucks and football team sucks and we get so many “fans” in here who have no clue how baseball really works

Keep celebrating losing arms like Jake and see where that gets us
