maybe it was mostly due to facing a rookie QB/coach, but it was nice to not look totally unprepared for week 1 like we have under BOB

    Agree 1000%

I’ve mentioned it before but man with
    No Watson
    No Hop
    No JJ
    No other “stars”

And this team has a way better feel to them then they have in a very long time if not ever. Can’t explain it can’t put my finger on it but it’s just something about this team that feels better then we did even when we had all the stars on the team.

It makes a HUGE difference when the team has an actual IDENTITY

How did we seem more competent this game than any previous game under B'OB? Not saying we're a playoff team but I think we'll be one of those scrappy teams that could pull off upsets this season.

Low expectations and playing against a really bad team. But gotta give credit when its due, players came out to play and we had a well coached game. Something we haven't seen in a while.

That's it in a nutshell. This is a team of journeymen, has-beens, and never-weres. They are the football equivalent of the expendables/suicide squad. They're not good, but that doesn't matter, the best teams don't always win and there's always a lot of factors outside of your control in a playoff race. Just stay alive and see what happens.

Creating turnovers and not making mistakes won this game. Also getting lucky on a couple of heaves to Cooks and the non call on that bobbled dropped handoff in the red zone.

Credit where it is due. That’s exactly how you win with less talent than other teams. Don’t make mistakes and take advantage of theirs.

For all of Lawrence’s mistakes he did throw three really nice TDs. Just wait until we are not playing a rookie in his first ever game.

Does this enable the mcnairs to try even less hard going forward?

Is caserio ball like a perfect diaper of cheapness and parity?

That last TD was a cheap garbage time TD. The defense wasn’t even trying on that last drive.

On Last year's Defense, Lawrence would drop 400 yds/ 5tds having all day to throw the ball. It was an all time bad defense no reminder needed.

We could lose every game from here on out it don’t matter…What matters is this team has an actual identity this team has an actual direction and this team is actually a team that plays for each other no more fake team first bull crap this team is really all about the TEAM.

It will take some time and some good luck but Caserio will build a true winner here in Houston.
