I hated Passan until I watched his interview on Astros County’s podcast. Still not my favorite, but I think that’s an interview any Astros fan who dislikes Passan should listen to. While I do think there’s a major slant in the Astros cheating national narrative, I don’t quite place as much blame on Passan as I did before.
Hey Passan you prick, the Dodgers and especially the Yankees were doing the exact same things the Astros were doing. Where do you think Beltran and Cora learned how to do these things you dumb prick. To dismiss that like you did makes you a lying azzhole just like those POS over at the Athletic. Lets face it Drellich's slimey little azz couldn't stand Luhnow and didn't think Luhnow's plan would work. He was proven wrong and he couldn't stand it. Then throw in those oversensative b!tches that were in the clubhouse when Taubman said things he shouldn't have said and you can bet the media mob were going to do everything possible that was in their power to bring down Luhnow and if the Stros fell with them so be it. Dont believe me? Everybody that admitted to cheating has a job in MLB today. Except for Luhnow, who there wasn't one shred of concrete evidence that he knew anything. So to Passan and his band of media hypocrites I would say this, you accomplished your mission so STFU and go suck a bag of d!cks.
No doubt the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers were cheating, the Astros a Low Market copying the Cheating and Amplifying it with a video room. I think the Yankees, Dodger blaming the Astros is just insecurity. Pretty much Beta Male behavior. Through out history Baseball players always cheat, especially Pitchers, Nail file, sandpaper, sticky tack, spitball, tar. Red Sox apple watches, Yankees Centerfield camera to steal catcher signs, laser pointers at centerfield Steroid Era Yankees, Jason Giambi, Andy Pettite, Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter too-How can a Low .250 hit .330 the next year his final few years, I am curious about Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada The Astros Players are only focused on themselves to Improve and Players push each other, having Marwin Gonzalez back, really boosted the teams morale.
This. It's the publicly singling-out of 1 team, thrown to the fans and media to be scapegoats, that is complete horsesh!t. I don't give a crap about cheating within the chalk lines, that's always gone on and MLB has always ignored it unless it was blatant (broken corked bats, Niekro's nail file, etc...). Should you use cameras and tech to do it? Hell no. Should players use PEDs? Hell no. I find it amusing/infuriating that the same baseball media that willfully ignored the Steroid Era ("chicks dig the long ball" and such) are now totally self-righteous about the purity of the game.

During the whole Draft Rob Manfred was getting booed every time he was announcing a Draft Pick. I am curious if Commissioners need to be Jewish or in the Illuminati to be in Higher Positions. I really believe Karma will get Rob Manfred. The Yankees, Dodgers will get Karma. Trevor Bauer got his, being blackballed and banned by the League.
