ESPN published a great story about Bijan developing a relationship with Earl and Ricky. I didn't get a chance to watch the opener live last week (damn in-flight wifi), but the highlights looked great. It was refreshing to see a Texas team not play down to the level of its opponent, especially during a new coach's first game. It looks like Rice really hung tough with Arkansas last week before their depth was depleted. Really hoping that's a good sign for our game this weekend (and I can't wait to watch)...
Bijan’s opener was a bit more impressive given the OL didn't play well. Roschon and K. Robinson were pretty much non-factors in the run game which is concerning. Arky should be a really good test.
Definitely. They've got serious talent at a few positions - Catalon @ S, Myers @ WR, Smith @ RB, and their QB will be a test for the front 7. Luckily for us my favorite name in CFB and an All-America candidate at LB, Bumper Pool, has to miss the 1st half because of a targeting penalty last week.
Might not want to use your PK as the punter and the kickoff specialist too, just a thought. But the OL and QB and defense are to blame for this so far.
Yep, sucks our punter blew out his knee and they didn't bring in a replacement in the transfer season and asked him to do double duty.
