    Anyone caught the new albums? Released close together.

    Donda is the tenth studio album by American rapper and producer Kanye West. It was released on August 29, 2021, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings.

    Certified Lover Boy is the sixth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on September 3, 2021, through OVO Sound and Republic Records.

    For me
    Ye was slightly above average.
    Drizzy's had a few decent but most were kind of lack luster.

    Both were horrible considering the buildup.... Kanye had maybe 2 Songs that sounded good... Drake had maybe 4, which would be good if it were an EP...

    Wouldn't go that far.... CLB was more of a disappointment than Donda being good IMO.. They both sucked considering the hoopla

    works for me. everyone listens to the music differently. overall been a breath of fresh air hearing throwback kanye to me finally

    I skimmed through Donda and thought it was mostly trash with a few okay sounding dongs. I don't get old Kanye vibes from whatsoever.

    Clb is alright, a couple of songs I like in TSU/2deep. The production and beats were extremely good, but I'm kind of tired of hearing his b**** voice singing



    You have to appreciate that sample if you like Houston rap

    Drake has more club bangers and the TSU track was great. Also liked Project Pat's appearance on Knife Talk.

    Donda has much more depth though. Kanye's music is interesting in that his sound has evolved quite a bit over the years.
    Lots of folks kind of want to hear the same beats and sound from their favorite artists. Hell, it's worked for Death Cab for Cutie for the past 20 years.
