Not sure that fans in places like Alabama, Florida and the deep south chanting "f-ck Joe Biden" at college football games means much.... that isn't where Joe Biden is going to be getting votes anyway.

Having said that, the COVID burnout is real and Biden is the current President and will have to navigate it .... and it won't be easy to do so. I don't envy him as he inherited a county with a lot of shorter term problems.

    Most likely ya.

Something you need to realize about modern politics. Everyone has their views ingrained. The people booing Biden didn't like him and don't vote for him in 2020 and are most likely Trump supporters.

Trump supporters exist in NY. You do know this right? This isn't some natural culmination of people changing their views on Biden and booing. You seriously are not THAT naive right?

We've gone through 4 years if a president who carefully made sure the crowds he had were his acolyte cultist worshipers with all his rallies so you probably aren't used to seeing a regular president who doesn't do campaign rallies once every couple of weeks right in the middle of his presidency.

Not sure why Biden even felt the need to respond.....

In a country where 74,000,000 voters voted for Donald Trump, of course there are going to be some people screaming at Biden and not liking him... we also live in a very polarized period.

Lots of people went to college football games this weekend . Even almost 70k for a UCLA game.

the reason why art history dropouts don’t like college kids is because these kids didn’t dropout and got real degrees like computer science or finance

I'm unclear what is wrong with this picture. The heading "COMMONLY AVAILABLE DISINFECTANTS" displays a spray bottle not a drinking glass...

Saw some stuff about slivering Schumer, too. It was all political... even if it hurts the American people.

"2020 Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris this weekend overtly undermined any COVID-19 vaccine rolled out by the Trump administration in the fall. She told CNN Sunday she didn't "trust" the White House incumbent."

Knowing her, I'm sure she said one of everything.

Trump has not been in a kitchen in 7 years so we don't think he was "making vaccine."

"I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he's talking about," she continued in the clip from an exclusive interview airing Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" at 9 a.m. ET. "I will not take his word for it."

So what exactly is the problem with what she said? She said that she would rely on the scientists and the experts.

Are you really going to take the position that the Democrats are the party that undermined the need or effectiveness of vaccinations?

You may not remember giddyup, but with him and basso it's often really hard to determine if their positions are the result of stupidity or profound intellectual dishonesty. Probably a healthy mix of both.

This. Anyone trusting Trump's word for anything is an idiot.

I don't think either party en toto took a hard stand against it. Some individuals, yes. On the Dem side, though, those are national figures taking a swipe at Trump and impugning the vaccine by association. Politics. All I remember Trump doing is applauding the efforts of those developing the vaccines.

His not "mandating" the vaccine-- even by insinuation-- speaks to a large portion of his base who crave a more independent life. Similarly, others wanting to "mandate" taking the vaccine speak to theirs. Turns out that the major benefit of the vaccines seems to be avoiding hospitalization. Most of the most recent cases with which I'm familiar involve vaccinated people getting and/or shedding the virus.

I took the vaccine. Guess which side I usually vote for? I have little doubt that I would survive COVID but I prefer the vaccine to any chance of hospitalization and, in particular, contributing to overwhelming the healthcare system. One of my TX friends had to postpone her granddaughter's surgery for a brain tumor due to lack of room in the ICU I'm not in TX, but I don't want that on my conscience.

Harris is mostly just taking an opportunity to pile on Trump. What is the point of insulting him about the vaccine? He only knows what others like the CDC and the vaccine developers tell him.
