What part of our defense makes you think we can hold anyone to 12 points? Can you name me the best player on our defense? Do we even have 1 pro bowler on the roster?

This is a 20 point loss easily..

Lol, come on man. This is the Jags we’re talking about. They aren’t hanging 20 on anyone.
And Texans defense will be much improved

Uh this is the same defense that made Drew Lock look like Tom brady except we lost all the best players from that team.

If Drew Lock can hang 35 on the Texans, Trevor Lawrence can probably put up 40. This is not the same Jags team as last year and last year they put up 25 on on us with Minshew. They added Lawrence and Marvin Jones, and we lost JJ Watt. They can easily put up 20 plus. Especially when our offense goes 3 and out all game.

Haven't watched any preseason games, won't watch the opener either.

    Thanks Cal.

This is not the same defense. And the Jags are still the Jags. Lawrence is still a rookie.

Why even watch if you're going to be this ornery? I dont put too much stock in rookie QBs starting their first regular season game. I think Lovie will have some surprises and it has nothing to do with the defensive personnel.

This is kinda where I’m at.
I get people being upset with the franchise, rightfully so in a lot of ways. But those same people make excuses for Watson too. I just don’t get it.
Ultimately this is my team, it sucks but I can’t follow another one. It’s like having that friend that only you like, you can talk crap but no one else can about them.

    Jags 27
    Texans 17

So Heck might be out and Tunsil may not make it back for the game due to COVID. Laremy is the only player on the team better than replacement level.

Sorry guys 0-17 is definitely on the table.

Its football season. Nothing quite like it, and while I've wandered all over the spectrum with this team its still OUR team. If you dont watch then dont clog up the board with the same BS talking points all year. Time to move onto the "coach is an idiot" thoughts and actual game criticisms vs all the BS that has gone on so far.

Texans hope Laremy Tunsil is ready for season opener after COVID-19

The Texans are hoping left tackle Laremy Tunsil, the team’s best player, will be conditioned enough in his recovery from coronavirus to start in Sunday’s season opener against the Jaguars at NRG Stadium.

Tunsil tested positive for COVID-19 before the preseason opener against the Packers, and he was activated from the reserve list Aug. 30. Reserve tackle Geron Christian, a three-year veteran from the Washington Football Team, started in Tunsil’s place in all three exhibitions.

“Well, I’m hoping that his stamina is a lot better,” coach David Culley said of Tunsil Monday. “Obviously, he came off the COVID. He’s been practicing. He practiced all last week. I expect him to be better this week than he was last week and hopefully he’ll be ready to go.”
