Yeah I felt bad for her and only turned on her when she ****ed Ted. They made Walter henpecked, but she was definitely above his league even as a waitress and she didn't know Walter made her the rebound girl when that geek chick picked the other chemistry geek. She might've made things worse, but the way how Walter was dying inside was not her fault. She and the son were definitely the weakest characters (Flynn? Who gives a ****, NotJessie...) They couldn't effectively pin down their individual transitions to be as brilliant as Walter's.
I think a major flaw of the show was them not establishing any chemistry between her and Walt, makes me think they married because she got pregnant more than anything. Don't remember a lot about how they hooked up though.
Skylar was a better looker than the chick that dumped him. Better person too... Her main crime was being basic and not knowing what to do to make Walter a better man with his obvious talents. She gets devalued like how Peggy Bundy was just by being attached to Al.
This isn't a TV show but putting this in for quarantine viewing. Stumbled across The Sisterhood on Amazon Prime last night. It's an 80's movie part Wonder Woman, Mad Max and Beast Master. The best part is it's set in 2021!
Just finished Jimmy Carter Rock N Roll president. Not here to comment on his politics/presidency, but only the man. Holy **** what a decent human being. I’ve never seen such a genuine smile from a politician.
Man, it was a tradition of mine to watch The Inbetweeners on Netflix when we went on summer vacations and I just found out it was taken off at the end of December. Everyone getting their own streaming service sucks.
Brooklyn 99 is back and for a cop show to pull off a mix of drama and humour in an opener dealing w/ systemic racism, police brutality and COVID is great to see. For everyone who feared major changes, don’t and check it out for yourself. The hospital show New Amsterdam also dealt with it very well, COVID and people’s lack of trust in the system, and is a gem that finished its 3rd season a few months ago. If you haven’t watched it yet, go do it now
Ted Lasso. It is so good. Would've never thought I'd like it, but it's easily in my top 5 of the past decade. Promo doesn't do it justice. This Dart scene does.
Not sure it's on comedy central anymore but ran into it on HBO max again, after having have totally forgotten about it. Second season is even hilariouser than the first.
Only Murders in the Building on Hulu with Steven Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. It's pretty good.
I think Taika Waititi has joined the "Oh he's the creator/director? I don't care what it's about I'm in" patheon for me. The others are Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan, and David Fincher.
Binged Nora from Queens over the weekend. Not bad I think the support cast around Awkwafina definitely shines, especially the grandma.
