Bad bone bruise vs. a fracture. One will have him back sooner. Doubt he plays the field from here on out though.

Yordan needs to wear Hakeem's old knee pads from here on out.

 

Something similar happened to Ozzie Albies this past week and he has already returned. Same with Anthony Rendon back in May. This is slightly different since the ball hit his back knee instead of being fouled off his front knee. So perhaps a different angle is involved here. Best case scenario is a knee contusion and he's day-to-day.

How does that happen on foul balls by Alvarez exclusively . Some prosthetics designer that's an Astro fan needs to make a knee guard that covers back and front and comfortable to wear. I don't ever care about the game just some good news.
