Yeah I’m not too worried about first week. But these two in particular need to be on point passing for them to be worthy of top 3 picks imo.
If not then the decision should be easy.... Tank another year, which shouldn't be a problem with this roster
Willis had 217 yds with a TD and some incredible throws. Could have had 300yds but it was a blow out. Back up finished it up
Yea Willis is the one I prefer. Only things that you can knock on him are small school and just 6 foot tall and that’s it.. but he has a strong arm, great passing touch and runs like a first round RB
Desmond Ridder had a great game, as well. Didn't even play the full game. Had four TDs to one pick, which was on a tipped ball. Could have easily had six TDs. This is someone to watch for Heisman. He may be able to make himself a first round pick, too.
I anxiously watched college football for the first time since 2007. By that I mean, flipping the channel to every game possible. Usually it's just UofH games. Is this a new thing where power houses now play good teams to start the season? In the past It turned me off that the powerhouses would schedule Quebec school of technology for the first 2 games before facing a decent team. On a side note, I'm liking Tyler from Tech more and more. I feel I will flip flop from week to week like in the "who are you taking" garm draft thread. HOWEVAH, I will proceed with caution due to certified Gucci and J.R's comments. The combination of Drafting DE and trading for Jimmy G has some strong odds.
Texans are just SCREWED. None of those QBs looked like Watson in College. I didn't see the Cincinnati kid, but his stat were impressive.
Pass. Just keep sucking and filling out the roster until that true generational QB comes around. If it's an option, i'll volunteer to be Deshaun's mansseuse if he will stay. I will message the-rapist.
How badly do the Texans want to win? Are they willing to wait another 15 years for another franchise qb?
I don't wanna be 17 years older by the time we find that qb again. Jordan seems well liked by some here so I started following his youtubes: More on Tyler Shough, his favorite bible quote is: Hebrews 11:1, which reads, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” https://sportsspectrum.com/sport/football/2021/08/27/5-college-qbs-watch-tyler-shough-texas-tech/ He is also versatile for venturing into the book of Philippians, once considered controversial because the apostle Paul wrote it while in prison. " Yo' Paul, you wanna hit the courtyard. They're bringing in jezebels" "Nah, blood, I'm good. writing some new bars for the good book." You'll laugh later.
