Born in 1987, and I've been wondering if Biden has been the best president of my lifetime - even if he were to step down today. I think he might be. That's crazy and not what I expected when he was elected, but ending the Afghanistan war is probably the biggest accomplishment of any president in a long, long time.
Damn we getting into Trump territory. Just to get ahead of things: So are you saying WhataboutTrump? Anyways most presidents have these month to month dips. Trump sustained the low rating for his whole term.
I appreciate the he didnt directly blame the orange guy for the hurricane. Rough 8 months picking and choosing which trump directive to follow/kill. At least kamala is taking care of the border smh.
I'm trying to search for your post history for where you criticized Trunk for blaming Obama. Can you help me out? Im confident that Trump has refered to the previous president more than any other president in American history.
Second time in a week you have searched my post history. It's getting weird. Should my criticisms always be even? Trump was criticized more than enough here. Why pile on? I did criticize him though. Biden has been terrible but you have people saying he is the greatest president in their lifetime. With all due respect, I think my criticism of biden is fair.
Fair enough guy. My goal is not to impress you with my arguments. I know I am not the best in these discussions.
"Joe Biden Is No Jimmy Carter": https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2021/09/03/joe_biden_is_no_jimmy_carter_146353.html
Jimmy Carter is an amazing human being. I’m not sure if any other modern president was on his level when it came to being a genuine human being.
"Why Isn't Biden to Blame for COVID-19 Deaths?": https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...iden_to_blame_for_covid-19_deaths_146349.html
Didn't read article but I would assume it's because he doesn't start culture wars over wearing masks and state and local governments doing temporary shutdowns like his predessesor? Do you think that could be a valid reason?
We need an inspiring progressive - we have to stop p***y footing around and embrace the progressive agenda, it is much better for our country. Both parties need to get away from ANCIENT WHITE MEN - and find a candidate that works. The GOP needs to find someone that is not a racist con man - and can truly embrace conservative spending. The DEMs need to find someone that will take on gun control and healthcare - and focus on our own country. Both should be in their early 40s if possible.......because the GERIATRICS are ****ING up this country and the world with their greed. DD
pretty sure we don't need more progressives remember what Churchill said, capitalism is the unequal sharing of abundance, whereas socialism is the equal sharing of misery
His approval ratings are especially dismal when you consider how friendly the press is to him. The dada kota endorsement is hurting him within clutchfans.
The same press that has the thumb of the military industrial complex pressed against them? Ya they definitely are friendly to Biden's withdrawal. You need to provide me the motive for why "the press" would be friendly to Biden. The press has a profit motive. https://theintercept.com/2021/08/19/afghanistan-taliban-defense-industry-media/ If you want to know why Obama and Trump kicked the can down the road it's exactly because of this. Noth cared too much about their legacies in this regard than doing the right thing and they knew one of the biggest lobbyist groups in the country defense contractors, create the narrative for the press. The press being "mean" to Trump shows how horrible he was because his policies benefited shareholders, the same shareholders that own the press, not the common people. The press had every incentive to lick Trump's balls based on his policy desires but the shareholders hate something even more than progressive tax structure.... And that's instable markets and Trump was an unstable mad man with no filter that created hatred and divide and that's not good for business.
We complain about the military industrial complex for its waste and excessiveness then come out as slack jawed when this happens. Interesting. A modern day Rome. At least he pulled out before Oswald choked him in his sleep. /joking-not-joking
It is a very fine line to walk and it really just comes down to how well a President can read the general mood of the country. It is like riding a bull, you will get bucked off but how long can you hold on. Americans want someone that is somewhat defiant but also takes responsibility and it is an ever changing balance. Some historical figures can tap into that right mix for awhile; Churchill, Roosevelt, Reagan, Kennedy, Clinton and even Obama and Trump were able to balance the arrogance and accountability for a small period of time...... however even these leaders didn't ride that wave for long.
Ok, thanks. Now imagine his approval ratings if they start being less friendly. He would hide even more than he already does.
