Not really. Players with no rings are forgotten a couple years after they retire. Who talks about Steve Nash nowadays? Dude turned a lotto team into contender instantly. Barkley and Malone who talks about those guys nowadays? Even if Harden wins a ring unless he wins multiple he will just be relegated to KG tier legacy wise.
im telling you bro, dont do it. i already been through it with these guys, they have a narrative opinion about him in their head.
steve nashs mvp years averages were 16/11/4.. nothing super impressive of course steve nashs name is not mentioned as much today, but no guard outside of jordan and west have put the ball in the basket at a more efficent rate than james harden this past decade. When nash was playing you could make a strong argument that chris paul and deron williams were just as good if not better Harden as a scorer and lead guard has had about 6-7 years of sustained dominance, we have seen teams create brand new defenses for harden. If the players still voted on the mvp like they used too prior to 1981, harden would have 3 mvp's easy
Honestly harden deserves probably all three of those regular season MVPs. He is a regular season monster.
He wont spend too much time, just a little time.... While @HP3 sits on the sidelines sheering his bf's on and screaming not to do anything crazy....
Lol and WB averaged a triple double for 3 straight years now so thats more impressive right? Giannis plays 2 way ball so although Harden has a prettier statline you can also argue Giannis deserved his MVP more cuz he can defend the other team's best player 1-5. Steve Nash's stats seemed mediocre but his impact was shown by the PHX team before he got traded there, that PHX was a lotto team and then became no 1 seed when he got there. That fact that you dont even understand his dominance just show my point, people wont care about Harden when he retires if he doesnt get a ring. NBA doesnt really care much about regular season warriors legacy wise. These nuances that Harden ARGUABLY should have been the MVP, nobody will give a crap about that. You realize if Hakeem went to the Bulls and played with Rodman and Pippen he would be the goat today instead of Jordan? I guarantee MJ wouldnt get 1 ring playing with crackheads and Ralph Sampson. But nobody gives a crap about that now cuz it didnt happen. You can argue Harden shouldve had 3-4 MVPs. But he didnt, he got one. That's the bottom line.
Wait. Is this guy actually talking to himself, or are there actually 2 guys using no stats whatsoever to circle jerk themselves? He would get down voted to oblivion on any real forum, maybe that's why he's here?
