I’m clueless on what you’ve just said about harassing a dude over an interracial relationship. Lol, is this somehow related to that general guy?

I don’t know what else to do but keep responding back to you in Vietnamese. Cam on em, anh khong phai la cai thang general do.

    Lol

Yeah, I have consulted with a few open minded doctors too, they were on the fence using it prophylactically but agree that due to the safety track records, it will not cause me harm.

I’m thinking about the vaccines too, I leave all options on the tables and will not close any doors.

Thank you for your kind wish and likewise.

Remember when people used to jump all over me when I suggested a year ago Rogan is just another Trumper who tries to manipulate his viewers into his positions but tries to seem unbiased at the same time so he can pull in independents??

I hope half of America finally understands where this guy really stands.

I just saw that you edited your post with this after I already replied.

I've been a proponent of vaccines since they came out, and I know I have made a difference with multiple family members and friends. If you knew me, my vaccination status, and my general opinions on covid and the vaccines, you'd probably feel pretty shitty about blindly raging at me like this

... or maybe not? I guess you could still keep replying to some person you've imagined who represents everything you hate?

All I said is we should probably differentiate a safe human drug, from a dangerous animal one, with the hope that it would lead to fewer people poisoning themselves, and suddenly I'm a "****ing idiot" who's not vaccinated anymore.

I don't know who jumped all over you and I hope you were able to recover from that, but as someone who actually listens to some of his pods, I would say this is a completely wrong characterization of him. Unless being a Trumper means supporting UBI, being antiwar, ending the drug war, offering more financial support to those of low income, and voting for Bernie Sanders, then I don't think it's accurate to label him a Trumper. I would say he is to the left of the average American.

I mean he says plenty of stupid stuff, and tends to talk about the same things repeatedly; he's flawed in many ways. I don't know if anyone actually views him as a thought leader, but the people he has on his show are usually great. In fact, his recent episode with Dr Rhonda Patrick spent like the last ~15 minutes debunking misinformation about the vaccines, where she went through some of the major anti-vaccine arguments and made a really strong case for taking the vaccine.

My point has always been that he is smart enough to bring people into a space where they trust ideas to be objective and free flowing then he hits you with his real thoughts on the issues. Yes his show is good. Really good. As I often said in my criticism.

Also someone has taken an anti war stance doesn’t mean they aren’t a dangerous MAGA person. He’s the most dangerous type of one because and looks and acts like a Bernie bro the majority of the time and then like a knockout punch he shows his true colors. Joe Rogan is bad for our Democracy. I’ll just leave it at that.

That's fine to believe, but that is a faith-based claim.

I mean if he is some secret right wing agent then he is terrible at his job. If anything, I have shifted to the left more since I came across his podcast. The political podcasts he advocates that people listen to are all very left wing (Breaking Points, Kyle Kulinski). 9/10 guests I've heard on his show, who have a political leaning, lean left. Regarding Trump specifically, he calls him insults regularly. Overall he has a terrible strategy for promoting Trumpism.

He takes issue with some aspects of left ideology (particularly increasing hostility against free speech), and has a conspiratorial mindset when it comes to government (partially justified in some cases, way off base in others). Is that sufficient to say he’s a MAGA type?

Paper was removed before publication due to unsubstantiated claims made within.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...al-ivermectin-paper-pre-publication-68505/amp

While it’s a well-written paper, it has an unusually non-objective take from the start. It definitely made my “wait a minute” hairs raise. (I’ve read the whole thing snd looked up some of the references, which are in some cases misrepresented in this article.)

it’s all unfortunate, because if the drug HAS shown some anti-viral properties, it deserves a well-balanced meta-analysis.

Glad you asked. The video is rather long but well worth it.

Rogan has taken all sorts of drugs under the sun recreationally and the memes for it are plenty.

I'm not sure why people would jump on his butt drug use for covid prevention as if they're not going do other anecdotal things like eating garlic, taking vitamin D or C.

During these uncertain times, you'll have people trying everything and anything. The science is still evolving and most people are working under FUD. It's human nature for both quackery and experimentation to operate under these conditions.

The weirder thing is not trying the one thing proven to mostly prevent an icu visit because a dude with an American flag and eagle Avatar on social media tells you not to

    That's a good point.

'Big Pharma' would make billions more by not developing a vaccine. One vaccine dose is $5-$20. One Regeneron dose is $1500 plus cost of administering an IV. The big bucks are in therapeutics, not preventative medicine.

Imagine if all of the big pharmaceutical companies conspire together and decide to not produce vaccines. That would really help their bottom line.
