Thing is Harden has the talent and tools to possibly be top 5 all time.... Harden can hit video game numbers, just ridiculous. But those playoffs performances man, those damn playoff performances... Its not like a couple. Its every single damn year... Its not every single playoff game either, he has had some good playoff games they just haven't come when Rockets needed them. Like ever.... Harden in my opinion is the best regular season player in the league, if he could play the same in the playoffs no doubt Harden would be the best period....
@Salvy @HardenVolumeOne now THAT is how you debate without getting emotional. As a man that pleases me.
that was one game, harden still got it done in game 7 againist the clippers curry has been bailed out by a bunch of different players, whether thats iggy, draymond, kd and klay its no comparison, can curry even lead a team to the playoffs without an all-star cast. He hasnt shown it yet
hardens playoff struggles are overrated in my opinion. Like last year harden finished with a 67% ts even though he played on one leg and still finished top 10 in overall playoffs bpm
Except Harden has some of the best playoff statlines EVER. It's great the user isn't acting like a child for once, but the standard should also include being somewhat accurate and not completely making **** up as well.
Be careful I might report you and go telling on you like you did earlier as if it did remotely anything. LMFAO.
im not a fanboy.. im just looking at the numbers.. harden has a higher career bpm, more vorp, better win shares per 48.. its really not close.. both curry and harden were drafted in 2009. https://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/stephen_curry_vs_james_harden.htm
harden has meltdowns, but it doesnt affect his overall playoff numbers and playoff ts% the problem is that most players are graded on their careers, while harden is graded on an indiviual game basis. One of the reason why i think harden will be seen in an even better light in 25 years from now
Ya I see where you are coming from. The lows are just really low. Dude straight up quit on the floor more than once. A lot of people don’t like his play style I never took issue with that. It was elimination game meltdowns that you just knew were coming that turned me off.
we also have to rememeber that harden doesnt get reffed the same in the playoffs as other great guards of the past. Whether its intentional or not, hardens playoff free-throw rate( FTR) drops the most among any elite guard going back to as far basketball reference can track. Wade, west, robertson, jordan, and kobe all saw minimal to no effects in their ftr from regular season to playoff while harden saw by far the biggest dropoff, second on the list in ftr dropoff in the playoffs was allen iverson ( but still nowhere near harden)
How do u average 28, 6, and 7 on 58% TS, but u suck in the playoffs? MFers are funny let’s stop all the casual fan narratives and dumbass talking points the facts are that Harden is overall good in the playoffs and has had many good-great games, but has had a couple of terrible moments like game 6 against the Spurs and game 5 against GS before the Bucks series where he got injured and was a shell of himself, this is what Harden had done in his past 4 playoff series 35, 7, and 6 with 44/35/82 shooting splits against GS (57 win stacked team) 30, 6, and 8 with 46/31/85 shooting splits against OKC (50 win team if schedule was 82 games instead of 72…7th ranked defense) 29, 5, and 7 with 50/38/84 shooting splits against the Lakers (60 win team if schedule was 82 games…3rd ranked defense) 28, 7, and 11 with 56/48/91 shooting splits against Boston (1st time Harden is on a stacked team, and of course, his efficiency is through the roof and he averaged 28 on just 14 shot attempts a game) so let’s cut the bullsh*t
Dont even bother bro, this is like Salvy and his 4 alt accounts trying to start stuff......and lol chicken boy.
