That is good argument if we haven't been beat by the likes of the Tigers, Rangers, and Orioles with lackluster play.
They have no heart! They’ve given up! They will never ever turn it around! Playoffs?! They’ll be lucky to make it! And if they do, one-and-done!
They have spoiled us, but they have the second best record in the American League and the best run differential. They’re pretty good and no team is consistent over the course of a 160 games. They’re not as dominant as some of the previous iterations (and do play down to the competition), but they are definitely World Series contenders. If you have 9 hits and score no runs, there was some bad luck involved. Once you get to the post-season it’s a crapshoot. I don’t believe the 2017 team was as good as the 2018 or 2019 teams, but that’s the one that won it all.
get over yourself. We are all big baseball fans. Our team is playing way beneath themselves and the fans are reacting to that. Its pretty ****ing normal.
I know you are trying to be sarcastic but this is all true. .500 ball for almost 3 months now. Heading down the stretch they are playing like ****.
They’re in a bit of a slump, and they definitely play down to their competition, but if they do get hot again it’ll be okay. Honestly, it’s hard to know what to expect with these guys, but I’m guessing they will come together when it counts and make a decent run. I don’t expect them to fall apart. **** happens.
They'll be fine. It's just annoying watching them fall asleep at the plate like they're Dusty. Road trip can still be salvaged.
Altuve, Bregman, Correa are just not the same players they were a couple of years ago. why is Altuve hitting .270ish all year??? where is Bregmans power and where is his fire? Correa just too concerned with his next contract? He is playing like trash.
