Totally agree. Both sides of our political spectrums messed up going back to Bush and continuing today …Both sides overstayed, we should have gone out long time ago. We should have allowed the ANA to have the rifles and humvees to fight on equal footing but taken the NV equipment, armored vehicles, aircraft and such back to us and got the hell out on a deliberate and measured process years ago to ensure high tech equipment, Americans and valued afghans and families come with us. The taliban never had any kind of Air Force, now they are hovering over Kandahar in a Blackhawk helicopter carrying off a dude hanging by his neck tethered to a rope like a freaking piñata …maybe they thought this was Mohammed that aided Biden years ago, who knows right? Biden laden—-living in Pakistan at the time—-was the mastermind / financier for the 9/11 attack. Many of his money then was still in his home country, Saudi Arabia.

In other words, Biden should have fast tracked this guy's departure out of Afghanistan, ahead of other interpreters equally desperate to leave, because of his special relationship with him? And that would not have been a problem for you?

There is unsurprisingly a lot of misinformation being spread throughout the internet on this mission. Criticism is fine, but we should try to stick to facts. People need to slow down, take a breath, and wait for images/stories that are being furiously tweeted out to be properly vetted.
