Ana de Armas looking sexy as ever. Trailer already is better than that garbage Spectre. Looks good.

Yes, we do. if the films continue to abandon story, dialogue, and characters, and stick to the old Bond cliches (flashy car, eccentric gadgets, kiss-off lines, etc.) you end up with a $hit movie like Die Another Day. The best Bond movie ever made (Casino Royale) was great because it had a excellent story, dialogue, and characters and abandoned the cliche items.

Kinda really want Idris to take this role over. He is perfect for it.

too old now. Idris would have been perfect for all manner of roles but everything just keeps slipping by. Dude is too unlucky. He should have been Black Panther too but Marvel wanna make him Heimdall because they weren't even thinking about BP back then, lol.

I see they took that black lady off this final trailer almost entirely. People were so mad she could be a double 0.

Anyway, looks good. ngl I watch these things because they look cool and Daniel Craig looks cool doing it. I lost the plot back in Quantum of Solace, lol.

So is 007/Bond a mantle or code name that can be passed on, or is it one guy who different actors play?

I’d love to see Idris in the role but only if it fits in the mythos.

@Xerobull ...I always thought it was the second option...which I thought was weird that Idris would ever come up in conversations about being James Bond. I mean James Bond is white...right??!? And Idris doesn't really fit that motif.

But the more I thought about it, I started buying into your first option and thought that, technically, 007 could be any person...and Idris made a lot of sense to me because he just has that look. But since Ian Fleming is no longer around, I'm not sure we'll ever get a concrete view on this. So as long as they avoid Timothy Daltons, Eddie Murphys and Robert Pattinsons, I think I'll be ok with whoever it is and whatever race or gender.

Yeah that ship sailed long ago. The next Bond should be younger. Craig so old.

The more I think about this, Mark Strong might've been able to pull off a great Bond.

Uhh no one cares about this movie? Lol. It came out.

I didn’t enjoy it as much because I felt that the action scenes lacked. The best part of the movie was the first part, all the way up to when they escaped the people chasing. After that the the last highlight was the Cuba shooting sequence. Ana De Armas was a badass.

    things I didn’t like
    -the villain seemed, lame
-the black 007 got relegated as expected as soon as Bond came back. Would have been nice if they didn’t make her a glorified baby sitter at the end of the movie.
-this movie took the trope of the main protagonists being unable to miss shot after shot to an extreme level. There were times James Bond wasn’t even looking at the enemy and was still shooting them with ease, controlling semi automatics with casually one hand
-I liked that they killed him though and the death felt accurate for how Bond would sacrifice himself

I would not be surprised if De Arnas “cameo” appearance was her “screen test” for being the next Bond.

    It was a bit disappointing.
The Safin/Madeleine/Bond full circle was a bit cheesy and forced.
Disposing of Craigs Bond arch enemy in Spectre was lame
It was pretty clear the intent of this movie was to close out the Craig years and move on to something new. Safin storyline served only to kill off any reminisce of Daniel Craigs Bond.
