Maybe no military dogs left behind, but 3 year old humans were https://www.foxnews.com/politics/3-year-old-child-among-americans-left-behind-in-afghanistan
Oh haha our own version of the consistently wrongest possible human in this area from 2000-2010 is popping up to give his take, and it's as shitty as we've come to expect
So basically, after multiple lies were proven false, you now shift to this story. So tell, why did the family stay behind? And is it possible that the US Government is working to get any remaining citizen returned through diplomatic avenues?
No, I don't. We've ended our war operations, but that doesn't mean our work is done there. That isn't to say we couldn't be drawn into another armed conflict. It's possible. But we better think long and hard before sending more troops into that country to topple their government.
again, the headline and article don't quite match... "“To correct erroneous reports, the U.S. military did not leave any dogs in cages at Hamid Karzai International Airport..." the dogs we're referring to were released and abandoned, not left in cages.
I love how quickly some folks on here are so quick to say "Well that's been debunked!" without really thinking about it. You think the Pentagon is going to admit that it left behind military dogs? Didn't the wise man DaDakota say it's up to us to think for ourselves? The 3 year old is stuck in Afghanistan and there is no protection for this child. Good luck with the diplomatic avenues. I wonder how long it will take you to fall on your sword. Biden effed up colossally bro.
What is unclear: Now I know... when I want news about the military I ignore DefenseOne and instead get my news from, cdrsalamander? Because, after all, the salamander is a well-respected news source.
That depends on who you think their allies are. Do I believe the Taliban considers their "war" with the US as over? Yes, I do. They literally were declaring victory today.
How bout starting with Al Queda...their "brothers" or ISIS-K that somehow was able to make it through Taliban "checkpoints" to kill close to 200 people last Thursday? Doubt anyone thinks they're done with us or that they aren't all very closely allied.
