Yeah I don't get why Click doesn't force Dusty's hand

If Dusty could get away with it, he'd promote his son-n-law to closer.

 

I am not defending Brooks Raley the batter hit a very low pitch.
Credit the batter Golfing that pitch.

Brooks Raley is 30 plus years he won't improve much.

 

I’d be fine with Josh James taking Raley’s spot on the Roster.

 

Pretty sure Raley and Bielak have suggestive nudes of Baker

 

That is a big part of the problem. Raley throws a pitch as well as he possibly can, and gets taken deep by a scrub hitting .177/.274/.337 on the season for the 2nd time this season. RHB for his career are hitting .289/.369/.522. It is like he is facing George Springer every time a RHB comes up.

The only logical thing I can think of is that he has been good in the month of July, so maybe they think he's figured it out (and maybe he has), but it seems pretty clear that he is a lefty specialist only, and unfortunately they've taken that role out of the game.

 

Bielak hasn't been that bad this season out of the pen. There's also some rumors that he's recently picked up some velo as well.

 

Give Wesley Wright a call.

 

And he can go multiple innings at least.

 

To me I think Dusty Baker believes the Lefty VS Lefty match up.

I think in this Era there is no such thing anymore.

Every Left Handed Power Batter can hit Left Handed Pitchers.

 

Raley has been very good against LHB this season .193/.281/.228/.509

His problem is the 3 batter minimum rule

 

That and being dogsh!t the 1st 5 weeks of the season.

 

Career ERA 5.98. WAR in 2021 -0.8. Salary $1,500,000 in 2021.

 

Can he play RF?

I think Raley and Dusty together receive more hate than every other MLP and coach for the entire league combined.

 

Because neither belong on a WS contender in any fashion.

 

Neither does Robel Garcia, but he'll get a ring either way.

 

I'd be fine with YOU taking Raley's spot
