    I’m not sure at what point they decided to trade Straw, but i doubt there was anything much better out there.

    There was some indication Maton had been unlucky and was pitching better than his numbers, but obviously he’s not been good since joining the Astros. I have no idea about the prospect the Astros got.

    Projecting his stats to a 600 AB season.

    He'd have 133 RBIs.

    Not only is he hitting, he's hitting big time in the clutch.

    The only drawback at this point is his 2 BB:23 K ratio. That needs to improve greatly.

    I hope James Click trades more unnecessary Logjam of players for Star Prospects.

    There is always AAA Position Players, Showcase them with the Astros and trade them for even better and even more young 18 - 20 year old Hidden Star Prospects.
