I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that he didn't tell Raley to do that. "Be careful with him and go after the next guy" would be my guess.
It’s criminal that he doesn’t. There is no role for a LOOGY on any team in 2021. If you don’t trust him for the subsequent hitters or potential pinch-hitters, you can’t bring him in.
I seriously think Dusty might need to hang up the cleats and ride into the sunset. He has contributed to this game and owes it nothing else. Your a good guy Dusty but you can’t coach anymore !!!!
Like I said earlier… good piece of hitting by Moore on a down-in pitch that he fisted out. Still caught too much of the zone and Raley doesn’t have the type of stuff that can outlast a good piece of hitting.
I hate Brooks Raley. What I really hate is the inevitability of it all. This game is like just about every other game the Astros have lost this year. They can't get a clutch hit, strand a boatload of runners and their relievers **** the bed. Rinse. Repeat.
