Go back n read you moving the goal poster.i said 3 guard lineup would start...meaning wall kpj green. That's what I was saying is 100 percent gonna happen. So not the staring face. Since they may go tate at the 4...that would be dumb but 50/50. So the bet was Wall kpj green starting not the whole starting 5
This will definitely be your 2022-2023 Western Conference championship starting 5 against the Denver Nuggets.
Anybody who has got wall on the bench prepare to be disappointed. He should be, but there is no way in hell he will be. Being a vet matters a lot more to coaches than it does to fans like us who immediately want to see the “young guys” line up. it will be interesting to see wether they have green on the bench to start the season. If they don’t, I guess Tate goes to the bench and you have Wall-KPJ-Green-Wood-Theis
Whether anyone likes it or not Green not starting day 1. Rebuilding organization plus 2nd year coach, can’t see him willing to disgruntle Wall any further & Porter a possible budding star. Not a good idea while trying to lay down a foundation for the new culture. He will make him earn it. If anything I see Sengun as more likely to start with the only other true center being Theis who imo is a rotation big at best. Tate who earned first team as undrafted should have starting 3 on lock. Green will spend 10-15 games of at least being the 6th man. Day 1 I see…. Wall/ Gordon/ Augustin KPJ/ Green/ Gordon TATE/ Nwaba/ House Wood/ KJ/ Nwaba Sengun/Theis However… I think the lineup to finish off games will be Wall Green KPJ Tate Wood
I don't agree with it, but I think more than likely the starting five will look something like: PG John Wall SG Jaylen Green SF Kevin Porter Jr. PF Christian Wood C Daniel Theis I think starting Wall, Green and KPJ together is a huge mistake that will lead to a lot of losses and could hurt KPJ's development as a point guard. But we've already heard talks about them playing those three guys together, and it feels inevitable. I would much rather see something like: PG John Wall or Kevin Porter Jr. SG Jaylen Green SF Jae'Sean Tate or Kevin Martin Jr PF Christian Wood C Daniel Theis OR PG John Wall or Kevin Porter Jr. SG Jaylen Green SF Kevin Martin Jr PF Jae'Sean Tate C Christian Wood
This is a crazy deep team that needs a trade. Wall/Tate/Augustin KPJ/Gordon/Thomas/Brooks Green/KJ/Nwaba/Christopher Thies/House/Lamb Wood/Sengun/Garuba 17 deep with the 2WPlayers. House and Augustin are the 2 easiest players to trade but what can they get back? I’m hoping for a player and a pick so they can open up a spot for Brooks. And, yes, I have Tate playing back up PG minutes this year and starting at PG next year. I think he can play a perfect Beverly-type role next to KPJ and Green. He can take the most difficult wing assignment on defense and he can bring the ball up the court to set up a DOH for Green or KPJ. Once the offense is in motion, Tate can use his exceptional feel for the game to fill in where he is needed and be effective. I also think we will see a drastic improvement with his 3pt shot this season. You read it here first, Tate is the future starting PG for the Houston Rockets, not KPJ
THIS! and hes a better playmaker than beverley and can post players up he could also be a MIP candidate
Wall Kpj or Green Tate Wood Theis Green is more of a two in our future plans than KPJ but Wall will undoubtably start. You can either bring KPJ off the bench to run point only or you can make him play combo guard when Wall is in the game. A rookie doesn’t get an auto start just because he’s the future. But if he shows out in practice, give him the 2 start and KpJ off the bench. I’d prefer to keep KPJ at point if that’s what we want for his future here. Green is too small to play the three vs most 3s. It’ll take a year or so for him to be able to hold his own. 3s are the most athletic typically. Tate at the 3 is a stretch but he would be an advantage with his versatility.
Yes, that's what I said. Tate at the 4 irrelevant. If your 3 guard line up starts while Tate is healthy (regardless of whether he starts), you win. I'm not moving goal posts. It looks a lot like you're getting nervous about your prediction when there's real cash to lose.
We should start the season showcasing the assets we wanna move - Wall, Ego, etc... Then after we shuffle 'em off... we bring in the youngsters full throttle.
OK cool. So done deal. I make a lot of sports bets. Boys be trying to wiggle out so I always gotta make sure with people wording. But deal
Fans want to see youth lineup, but probably not gonna happen. Coaches will start something like this: Wall/Porter Jr Green/Gordon Tate/Martin Jr Wood/Garuba Theis/Sengun
Love the enthusiasm! (but Ja'Sean Tate will NEVER ... "Neva Eva EVA" - play PG minutes in the NBA .. ever) Passing out to 3 point shooters doesn't constitute a playmaker. Curious how you came up with that!?
