"A Teacher" 6.7/ 10. You know that wonderful thread about hot teachers that one poster decided to ruin over night and it was never the same again?
This show about the same subject matter. Kate Mara plays the teacher. Short 25 minute episodes but it gets preachy towards the end. After every episode they give out a teacher's association help line. I was tempted to call it just to see if it was real. It's an OK binge watch before those late Astros games.

"Dave" 10/10. It's on Hulu though it airs on FX.
I guess FX got tired of waiting for the Childish Gambino to clear up his schedule and said we makin' another hip hop hit.
I haven't laughed so hard. Comedic Gold, Jerry.

    Dave spittin bars:

Going to start The Leftovers and Gangs of London

Need to give this show another go, just wasn’t impressed after the first two episodes.

Gangs of London on my wishlist.

I was reading that it was GaTa's first time acting but the article wasn't clear if GaTa was an actor portraying the real life GaTa.
As it turns out real life GaTa is the GaTa in the show. In my defense, I also didn't know Dave was a real life rapper.

Watched the 4 hour trainwreck that is the "Snydercut" Justice League. That should have been illegal. What an absolute mess. The final 30 minute epilogue that just crammed in meaningless **** was the cherry on top of the **** sundae.

DC needs to do a hard reboot on just about everything.

Fantastic Fungi on Netflix was one of the most fun documentaries I’ve ever watched. I now want to study mushrooms.

Also, I think @Deckard made an appearance.

Should me and the Mrs try Apple TV+ or whatever? Yea or nay?

We don't watch a lot of TV in general, but 3 months free trial, and us probably not traveling much anytime soon, maybe it would be a good thing.

definitely, if not for Ted Lasso alone. plus the Bruce Springsteen concerts (if that's your cup of tea). Apple programs have been pretty uniformly excellent so far

we really liked The Morning Show, with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. New season of that is coming out soon. Schmigadoon was worth watching, silly but good. For All Mankind is supposed to be excellent, haven't watched it yet though. I'd say try it and see how it goes
