The NBA still has the agenda of getting the Lakers get to the Finals. So much investment of trades and building up fan fare. Are they better than a Warriors with a healthy Thompson back? Probably not. So the all grievances are for nothing.

 

I think most that don't like him having the nick name, including yourself, have an exclusive complex as to why he shouldn't be allowed the name. Remember that reference as to "white Turkish mother"? Turkey has had influxes of waves, particular Asian like the Huns, Mongols and Central Asians over the eons. Guys like Hedo Turkoglu are a testament to their mixed heritage based on appearance.

 

The only person losing it is him.

 

And yet there is still nobody in Turkey named Anfernee. And there is barely anybody in the United States named Anfernee.

And it isn't a nickname. The dude just didn't get his name right. And I don't like that a guy in the media didn't take the time to learn Alperen's name before he did a whole podcast on him. If his actual name or nickname were Anfernee I would have zero issues with that. wtf.

 

When he blocks a shot we can call him: MAGIC ERASER.

 

They are not losing it. Only person losing it is OJ Simpson.

If they can’t move Wall by the deadline then they should buy him out even if they don’t get much of a discount. He’s proven impossible to trade at that point. Next year he’s an expiring at a time when the Rockets could have massive cap room year after next when he comes off the books. Release him after this year’s deadline and use the roster spot for development.
