These racist liberals will be the first to champion minorities , rights etc. make no mistake they’re the biggest enemies to it. When it was time to go there they were screaming “we’re liberating them they should be so thankful!!”
I’m a bit disappointed in the Trump supporters for letting this situation distract them from the real crisis of critical race theory being taught in our schools here at home. Now is not the time to let your guard down.
Trying to figure out if you are intentionally dumb or just that stupid? This was a multinational force sent to destroy Al-queda and OBL - we did that - we should have left. I do love your attempt at deflection and trying to paint the liberals with the right wing's propeties like racism etc. Keep on losing boy! That's true he is doing so much more - our standing in the world is better, our economy is back to growing, our rollout of the vaccine had an actual plan, we are no longer caging children at the border away from their families, and we have a President who is ACTUALLY America first, with his infrastructure, his citizen covid assistance, and his policies of equal rights for all, especially in voting. I mean some of those were GOP talking points, but they are Biden ACTION ITEMS! DD
Ok Mr. PP, Well, between you and Los it is Dumb and dumber.....you guys might together reach 100 on the IQ chart, but I doubt it. I know you two don't like the educated viewpoint, but I will be here to keep informing the truth. At least you like Pistol Pete - he was a great ball player. DD
WSJ reporting four marines killed https://www.wsj.com/articles/afghanistan-kabul-airport-explosion-11629976397 The U.S. ambassador in Kabul has told staff there that four U.S. Marines were killed in an explosion at the city’s airport and three wounded, a U.S. official with knowledge of the briefing said. Two explosions ripped through crowds of Afghans trying to enter the airport on Thursday. At least three U.S. troops were injured, a U.S. official said. Witnesses reported multiple fatalities among the Afghans, many of whom were trying to enter the airport because they had assisted U.S.-led coalition efforts and feared persecution by the Taliban. Western governments have repeatedly warned of an imminent attack by Islamic State and urged their citizens not to approach the airport. After the blasts, the U.S. Embassy told all Americans to leave the entrances to the airport immediately. The explosion at the Abbey Gate of the airport was the result of a complex attack, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said. He said another blast occurred near the Baron hotel adjacent to the airport. A British security official said both attacks were carried out by suicide bombers.
What are the implications of these disastrous events in Afghanistan? Thousands of people will die, many of them Americans or people who assisted Americans. Terrorists now have a safe haven from which to plan and launch attacks against the US. The image and strength of the US is significantly damaged globally, thereby emboldening our enemies for future attacks Joe Biden is now seen as the weakest and most ineffective leader perhaps in American history, further emboldening our enemies. We should never have given up Bagram Airfield to the Taliban. This forced the evacuation to the Kabul airport, an urban airport that is all but impossible to fully secure. We should have gotten our people out of harm's way before pulling out the military. This was all preventable. Biden must go.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...live-updates/#link-B5JP4ZY4LNH3BHEG46W5RAD7JI Twin explosions likely means 'de facto end’ to evacuations of anyone other than military, says former Pentagon official By Missy Ryan12:57 p.m. The explosions outside Kabul airport likely means the end to evacuations of anyone other than U.S. military, says former Pentagon official. “While it is likely to be denied publicly, the terrorist attack is also likely to mark the de facto end of the formal U.S.-led noncombatant evacuation operation,” William Wechsler, a former senior Defense Department official now at the Atlantic Council, said of Thursday’s bombing. “The deadline of the end of the month is fast approaching anyway, and the necessary operational pause that will ensue from the bombing will likely eliminate the last vestiges of hope of remain in the tens if not hundreds of thousands of Afghans who are desperate to flee the country.” Biden has set a withdrawal date of Aug. 31. The number of Americans and those Afghans who had aided the U.S. mission for years in Afghanistan has decreased. In the past 24 hours, 13,400 had been evacuated, the White House said early Thursday. Since Aug. 14, the U.S. has evacuated and helped in the evacuation of approximately 95,700 people.
Hillary Clinton has been arranging flights for at-risk women and children to leave Afghanistan I am sure HRC's billionaire 2016 opponent is doing likewise.
Thanks Mr. PP. Sorry to hear about the Marines killed today - this is all the more reason that Biden is right in executing on Trump's deal with the Taliban. We need to let that country fend for itself, it is not our problem. DD
This is ironic considering where I’ve been standing on most issues. Not only are you 100% wrong it’s clear you spend a fraction of a second doing research and caring about the lives of people that don’t get to play video games for a living eating cheese balls so they can one day plug the BP oil spill. What’s concerning the most is the lack of empathy and hypocrisy
Your ability to regurgitate Dem talking points is duly noted. Maybe just link to Dem campaign ads in the future, and go with that?
I didn't ask the Biden Administration to do something about the terrorist attacks, I am complaining about the lack of planning. That's a legit criticism. We have the resources, our allies have the resources, we shouldn't be in a mad scramble to evacuate people. We were all angry when Trump abandoned the Kurds, we should be equally upset about if Biden abandons our Afghan allies (for the ones that are not evacuated).
