For the 100th time, don’t bring in your best strikeout pitcher in the 9th to face the bottom of the lineup when you have a likely 10th inning with a runner on 2nd and the top of the lineup!!! It’s a ******* broken record. “Pressly pitches the 9th, therefore Pressly pitches the 9th.” I’m going to bed. I can’t take Dusty any more.
disagree. You actually don't play for the 10th inning. You play to end the game asap and in this scenario its the bottom of the 9th. Pressly did his job. Now the bats need to do theirs
I called this exact situation multiple times before this season and was right every time. You have multiple pitchers who should be able to get through a clean inning against the bottom of the lineup. You have very few who can get through a runner on 2nd, no outs and the top of the lineup. You have to think ahead. “The bats should do their job” is just a nice - sounding macho slogan - scoring a run per inning would be 9 per game. No team does that. Dusty can’t think ahead or figure out the probabilities, but you should aspire to be better than that
if the bats didn't do their job then that's not on pressly or having him come out when it's giving you a shot to win it in regulation. It doesn't mean you're actually right. if you're playing for extra innings that's loser mentality
this is just stupid sloganeering. Even if they score here, and I hope they do, that was a low probability. There is nothing magic about “winning in regulation.” The only magic element is that the 10th is much, much harder - especially where we are in the lineup.
I knew I had you ignore for a reason. Just dumb slogans without an ounce of logic or cogent argument. Ok, bye.
ignore. losers are folks who actually announce it. Like it's relevant. who gives a shitt. you're a nobody anyway. nobody cares
Very peculiar that youtube keeps showing KCs 85 world series but no showing of the 17 world series. Then again theyre not showing the 15 one either.
Lol the irony here is if Dusty put in Graveman back in the 7th, the game most likely would be already over.
its been pretty clear for a long time CC and the Stros are no where near in the same ballpark of what each side is aiming for. CC has been straight forward about that from the beginning
