On offense, KMJ is a type of player that thrives well with good passers. Do Rockets have that kind of a passer/playmaker? Time will tell. Defensively he is still inconsistent but I think he will only improve. House needs to go. He is a streaky shooter at best. SF position is quite full at the moment with Tate, Nwaba, KMJ and Green who could be playing at SF position.
Usman Garuba is a better passer than KJ Martin. He can play in a passing system. Usman can find 3 point shooters. Usman is hockey assist passer. Usman needs to work on 3 pointers, free throws and ball handling. KJ Martin is raw in passing and ball handling, create his own shot. Thank goodness he can shoot 3s. Shot Blocker, Dunking, 3 Point Shooter
The players really trust Alperen Sengun which is great to see. Big Man has game. Alperen does bail the team out with clutch shots or great passing.
To me there are only two defined positions in the NBA currently. PG and Center. Everyone else is positionless.
He should just be a 3 and D player with some good rebounding too. No one needs him to dribble just like no one needed Ariza to Dribble
Love KMJ. I hope hes a rocket career guy if we can make the numbers work. he compliments any players bc hes just all grit. I sort of see what you are talking about more in Tate. Hes a playmaker, sort of reminds me a little of a Draymond PJ tucker hybrid and even at 25..he plays a way that I hope becomes the rockets identiy and both Green and KPJ will benefit from that
