That’s all we have done since the chiefs game. I have watched this organization trade away it’s best players for peanuts and develop a bad relationship with the star QB. Additionally, we signed guys to terrible deals. I get that the new regime is trying to clean it up, but it’s the same owner and same executive (Easterby). Buttchin really did a number on this roster. Gross negligence where Cal McNair shares the blame. Baffling roster construct and draft allocations during his reign as king. I give Caserio credit for putting a band aid on a bullet wound and he may actually have a watchable product year 1. Football freak in me would like to be able to believe that the various idiots in the organization will not meddle with the football operations. Hope that plays out. Be nice to get fresh ownership and really start anew, but that isnt happening anytime soon. "It is what it is"
Warring and Reid cut so soon after being drafted in the third and fourth rounds is pathetic. O'Brien's ability to judge and draft talent was just next-level terrible. On the plus side, I like that we're cleaning house of all of BOB's mistakes. I look forward to David Johnson not being here as well. Doesn't seem like a bad guy, but he's just not a starting caliber back anymore and him being here is just a constant reminder of the worst trade in Houston professional sports history.
