I wonder if they dropped his rating for this season seeing as he's one year older and still has injury issues. That would mean that our 19 year old rookie might have the same rating as Wall lol. Wonder if that would hurt his ego?
You can bet that'll change quickly, but let's face it, you can't expect casuals to do any better than that.
I think this raises interesting point I've been thinking about - just how high is KPJ's potential really? I mean, of course at the price we got him (basically free) he's real high value. And of course, compared to his draft position (1st round 30th pick), he's better than that, but just how high is it? It's definitely not Jalen Green high, I'm sure. He definitely had moments last year but I don't think he had an amazing year last year. I think this year is a very important year for him to break out, which is the main reason the current situation with Wall isn't ideal. Rockets might just be thinking, we'll tank again with Wall and go for a high draft pick next year, and thereby sacrifice KPJ's chance to develop this year because they're not THAT high on him - certainly not as high as Green and whoever next year's pick might be
KPjr is way closer to being a franchise player than anyone else employed by the Houston Rockets right now. He's top five talent.... now, plugged in up top...where his value is already growing exponentially. This IS his team at the moment.. (only 21) I think Jalen's the bomb, but it's going to take him a minute, and even at his zenith.....We'll see. Let's just say we're fortunate to have both of them.
Respect is earned not deserved! He wants a higher rating then prove it on the court. M'F'n kids these days.
I like the playfulness. He’ll have a little chip on his shoulder and an edge to his game next year. I’m just happy that he seems happy and seems to be finding himself. Team KPJ. Houston loves you, kid.
Giddey, who played all of 10 seconds in SL, is only 2 net rating behind KPJ? What kind of logic is this?
Make a goal of averaging 20pts on good shooting, 10 assists with strong defense or become an all star who makes the team around him better. Focus on putting in the work everyday and dominating your game in real life and your ratings will rise. Become so good it gives them no choice or excuse to deny you anymore.
Worst team in the league and an unproven Rookie I mean...how are they offended by this? Get gud and your rating would go up. You offer Jalen or KPJ to 30 teams and 29 take Jalen and the Pistons would still be in their feelings looking for **** to do outside of going to Dave and Busters.
