Im not going to take a stand on this paricular instance, but my experience is that most of the historical automation predictions regarding low-skill labor tend to be excessively optimistic because in reality it turns out to be more economical to dip into the endless stream of desperate people, exploit the hell out of them and throw them away for a replacement when they become less profitable, as opposed to investing a ton of money and time upfront on unproven technological solutions. As long as there are coke-and-fentanyl-addicted undereducated young ladies eager to get railed on camera rather than work for minimum wage in the Dairy Queen, i find it very unlikely that anybody puts forth the effort to set up the CGI p*rn thing outside of specific fetishes in that direction. Though, as I said i haven't put that much thought into it. But the people doing p*rn aren't being coerced into do it, and the people filming it dont have to work all that hard to find eager participants.

Not sure if you are joking... I don't really know pornstar names, but I just googled "most famous p*rn stars". I then took each of the names and googled them with "drug rehab". At least half the list has had at least one major stint in rehab for cocaine/heroin/fentanyl/meth, etc. Drugs are expensive, and there are very limited career choices for how high school dropouts can pay for such a habit.
What I meant specifically is that viewers typically do not care about the performers real life back story. Whether she is a crack addict or CGI matters little. Mainstream p*rn has become weird and will only become more bizarre.
